Chàng  Hunaman đẹp trai posing cho mình chụp chân dung ở Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary (bang Rajasthan, Ấn Độ).

Ở các khu đền Hindu, các bạn Hanuman này sinh sống cực kỳ đông đảo. Anh bạn này sau một hồi làm mẫu thì phát cáu với mình – tí nữa thì đánh nhau to.

Ảnh chụp đầu năm 2008 bằng quả máy còi FZ 20 🙂 Hôm nay ngồi soát lại đống ảnh thấy mấy tấm chân dung này ngon quá nên post lên đây. Túm lại là mình chụp mẫu kiểu này lại đẹp hơn chụp mẫu gái mới chết chứ!

Ảnh chụp tháng 5/2009. Mai Châu chụp từ trên góc Cột Cờ trên đèo nhìn xuống. Có lẽ đã có nghìn bức ảnh được chụp từ đây. Nhưng Mai Châu vẫn thế – chưa bao giờ cũ!

This photo was taken during my trip to Nepal last year. It was really great to see other parts of Asia, which share many similarities with Vietnam. Poverty is one.

Two H’mong girls are confidently riding bicylce. What’s strange about it?

Well, the H’mong often lives in the mountainous areas in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam. Normally they do not use bicycles due to rough terrains of their living areas. Recently, they migrated to the Central Highland and found their new homes in flat lands.  Some of them tried biking the first time in their life!

She is a H’mong girl. Caught her smile when she was standing with a group of friends in front of the market. I guess they have a festival coming soon as all H’mong people in the market were dressed up. So colorful and beautiful.

This picture was taken during my recent trip to Lang Son – Cao Bang – Bac Kan.

 

A friend of mine sent this picture to me years ago. I was shocked by the impression of the scence and also the context noted by someone who collected and distributed this picture.

Kenvin Carter took this photo in 1994 – 12 years went by already. You would wonder what’s happening in Africa now? Is everything getting better at all? The sad answer is NO.

There are still wars and fightings for power. We hear the hunger of nations and starvation of millions of kids over there. Rapes, killings, massacres are happening regardless of being covered on the news or not.

This small flower is everywhere: in an abandoned house, along roads, around your garden, … It may be mixed in the green of grass. You may have never looked at its beauty as the flower is too small to be attractive.

Queens Crape-Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa): A beautiful flower plant. The flowers make me remember good old days when I was small.
