Just bought a decent phone for kid with absolutely reasonable price as it was a retail demo one. The retailer sold it while the phone still remains almost a year of warranty.

After a few days, it turned out that the phone is still in demo mode and it cleared all settings or changes after some time, in addition to the demo screen while the phone is not in use. Looking for solutions, there are some advice on Reddit or a blog post with instructions. It sounds a bit complicated.
The solution is actually quite simple. Just find the app “Retail Demo” on the Honor phone and uninstall it 🙂 Here is the icon of that app:

Here is step to remove this app:
- Before you can uninstall it, you need to go to the app setting: tap the icon, select “Retail Setting”
- It will ask for password. Type: 1122334455 then Confirm.
- Now you go to the Setting, turn on “Allow this app to be uninstalled”
- It will ask for another password. Type: 00CDIAGE (zero zero …) then Confirm.
- Now you can go back to the app and uninstall it.
You can then turn off the Demo Mode in system settings of the phone. Google or look at the links above for instructions.
Now the phone is fully functional!
